About Subbass Subbass offers a full range of courses to suit everyone from the beginner to those looking to refine and broaden their skills, whether you want to play for your own enjoyment or to make a career as a DJ or producer.
At Subbass, you will experience a broad range of practical based training from experienced and highly deckstrous masters of sound. We have an extensive range of courses available for you at Subbass, ranging from basic to advanced levels of development. With a maximum of FOUR students per course, you will have plenty of time to learn and understand all the techniques we teach, with individual attention from our team of professional DJ’s and Producers.
The Courses We have an extensive range of courses available for you at Subbass, ranging from basic to advanced levels. With a maximum of FOUR students per course, you will have plenty of time to learn and understand all the techniques we teach, with individual attention from our team of professional DJ’s and Producers. We have three teaching area’s in theSubbass studio - we won't just leave you mixing in a pair ofheadphones, you will be learning in an open aired environment giving the tutors the opportunity to monitor andcorrect your progress instantly. When learning to DJ you want to be able to pump your tunes loud.
Producers get to work on their own Apple Mac workstation, with bundles of Soft Synths and Plug-ins, learning the skills you need to make your tracks stand out. With only four students the classes are like 121 sessions with our professional producers. Our DJ and Music Production courses run either over one weekend, four weeks or 3 months. All our tutors are all experienced professional DJs and producers. If you are unsure about what course is best for you, or exactly what stage you are at in your development, please get in touch and we will help you decide which course would suit you best.
Booking a course is easy, simply select your course and go to the calender to find the next start date. Then click on your prefered date, you will then be asked to pay a £100 or £200 deposit (depending on the course), and thats it your on your way to becoming a DJ or Producer!! The Tutors Our standard of teaching speaks for itself - at Subbass you will only find top industry professionals teaching, who are dedicated to passing on their wealth of knowledge and experience. You will not just learn the technical and musical aspects of mixing and production, but will also gain an insight into the pro DJ's and producers mind; this will enable you to better understand the feeling of making music for, and playing in, real world situations.
Subbass Students Since completion of our courses, our students have gone on to play out at major London venue's Including; Brixton Academy, Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Egg, The Whitehouse, Cargo, Cable, Herbal, and have played major nights and events such as; The Gallery, Dusted, Starf*cker, SW4 and Electric Gardens Festivals. Production course students get the advantage of our experience, and advice on getting their tracks signed. Previous students have had the tracks they made on the course released. Our pro DJ tutors might also play your tracks at some of the worlds top clubs. Events Subbass has become renowned for running clubbing events at major venues. We currently host a room on a monthly basis at The Gallery (Ministry Of Sound), and students have the opportunity to apply to play upon completion of their course.
