Step up and become a pro
Those of you with the ability to pitch match, beat mix and have a good understanding of the mixing board will find the advanced course the perfect way to tighten, refine and broaden your skills.
At the beginning of the course you will be asked to perform a mix, the tutor will then assess your ability and decide what areas need improving. You will spend the first half of the day working these skills, before moving on to new techniques. You will then learn a host of new skills and tricks including: method two pitch control, EQ tricks, and advanced mixing board techniques, basic turntablism, CD mixing, acapella mixing, drop mixing and three channel mixing.
During the course we will also discuss the industry, DJ agencies and mix CD's. The advanced course will really give you the final push you need to step into the industry, we will share our wealth of knowledge and experience with you and students find they get a real confidence boost from the weekend. Many former advance course students have gone on to play out in clubs.
We find that once you have mastered the basic technics, more advanced skills are easy to pick up and you will be amazed how much you can learn in just one weekend.
Spending the weekend with a pro club DJ really does make the difference, giving you the chance to ask all those questions you have always wanted to ask the Pros.
Students from this course have gone on to play at some of the biggest clubs on the planet. Including gigs for Subbass at The Gallery, Ministry Of Sound, The Egg, The Mixmag tour, Matter, The Cross, The End, Pacha and even Ibiza.

Some student feedback on this course.....
Just a big thanks to John & Subbass...
I learnt a lot this weekend and was very helpful brushing up, learning new skills and erasing old bad habits, I was playing Breaks and Electro/tribal house and then went onto some funk and the skills I learnt helped me across all my musical tastes.
Its good to be taught by people actually working in the industry and hearing their experiences and sharing their knowledge, its suprising how much you can get done in just two days!
Very friendly atmosphere, it has given me a confidence boost and I will be seriously pursuing a DJ'ing career in the near future.
I would recommend the course to anyone and everyone!
