Subbass DJs In the Clubs
Subbass has become renowned for running club events at major venues. We currently host a room on a monthly basis at The Gallery (Ministry Of Sound), and students have the opportunity to apply to play at these events upon completion of their course. Subbass has hosted either the Loft or The Baby Box at this world famous venue for over a year. The relationship between Subbass and one of Londons longest running and most successful nights The Gallery continues at Ministry of Sound this year giving more students the opportunity to showcase their DJ skills and productions. Back in the days when Turnmills was in full swing, Subbass DJs regularly appeared at The Gallery. With many students playing in the main room, before some of the biggest names on the planet. Students played alongside the likes of Tall Paul, Judge Jules, Pete Tong, Armin Van Burin and even Tiesto warming things up in the legendary venue.

Subbass and The Gallery also teamed up on a yearly basis to run a summer DJ competition with the winner and runners up getting the chance to play at the club. It is such an amazing opportunity for new talent, with some Subbass students going on to play out just a month or two after first learning to mix. Imagine dreaming of becoming a DJ, signing up to a course, and in a few weeks playing on the same line up as Pete Tong! That is what has been achieved again and again by students attending Subbass courses. For nearly 10 years Subbass has been teaching DJs the skills they need and then sending them out into the Industry. Early students included Mike Koglin (DJ Course), who went to play across the world as one of the biggest names in Trance. Check out star students section for more success stories. Subbass has been involved with, and hosted rooms, at huge events at some amazing venues, and has also worked with some of the biggest promoters in the business. As well as working closely with The Gallery, Subbass has hosted events for HeatUK, LockNLoad (SW4), The Cross, The Egg,The Whitehouse, Electric Gardens, and Frantic.

Every weekend you can hear DJs who have trained at Subbass banging out the tunes across the UK clubbing scene and even further afield. Subbass Is truly connected to the industry, and the Subbass slogan 'From The Bedroom To The Mainroom' is not just hype, but has been proven time and time again.

What do the industry think of Subbass.... well we asked them...... 'When we are looking for fresh talent our first port of call is Subbass DJ Academy. If you are looking to break into the industry this is a fantastic place to start, as you will not only receive the training, but will have the chance to connect to the clubbing community. These guys are professional DJs and use their connections to give new talent a chance to shine.' Damian Gelle promoter of SW4 and LockNLoad events 'The Subbass DJ Academy has firmly established itself as a fertile breeding ground for new talent in recent years. With its combination of high-end technology, skilled tutors and disciplined but informal approach, Subbass is a natural choice for anyone wanting to get fully involved in the world of electronic dance culture.' Matthew Duffield, Director of Sedition DJs one of the UKs biggest DJ agencies 'Subbass has proved again and again that if you want to be a DJ, go to Subbass.

There is no place like it, and when we are looking for new talent Subbass is where we go.
