Steve Brock
Hailing from deepest darkest Oxfordshire in England, Steve Brock was bitten by the electronic music bug in his early teens when he would go to his local record shop to buy Ibiza compilations and hard dance CDs, which then led to his discovery of dance acts such as The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Orbital and Underworld.
Despite this passion for all things musical, Steve never actually learned to play any musical instruments until the age of 24, when In 2005, he taught himself how to play the drums which paved the way for his foray into DJing and would eventually lead to him producing the electronic sounds that he had loved for many years. Fast forward 5 years and Steve is now based in South London and since his early days of DJ’ing has been lucky enough to play in some of London's best clubs and bars and continues to make an impact on the London clubbing scene to this day and beyond.
Steve is also one half of the electro house DJ / production duo the ‘Bad Boy DJs’ who have had chart success on both beatport and DJdownload and having remixed for the likes of Jens Lissat and Supermal and have had releases on labels such as Emotive Sounds and Funktion Recordings, things are moving along very nicely indeed. Not being the type of person to be able to sit still for more than 2 seconds, Steve is also concentrating on is own solo project under the ‘Brockenspiel’ guise which will focus on a more tech house and progressive sound.
