After taking part in DJ and Music Production Courses at Subbass, Dan Lay played his first set at the world famous Ministry of Sound in London. Shortly after this he made friends with someone at a gig after bonding over their love of dance music, and the duo 'Lay N Browne' was born.
Heading straight into the studio, their debut release "Tajima" was soon snapped up by Dutch supreme label Big & Dirty Records in 2010. The track reached No. 24 in the Trackitdown House/Electro chart and received great support from Marco V, making his November Top 10 Mix and also his TAO Chart on Trackitdown. November 2010 also saw the release of their remix of Reza - Got to Be Free, released on Rezonation Music.
Their drive and determination has seen them smash their way onto the Dance music scene with a number of labels snapping up recent projects, including releases on Threesixty's Maquina Music, Funk Farm and Marco v's label, Incharge Records. Next year promises to be a big year for this talented duo, with four scheduled releases for the beginning of the year alone and some projects on the horizon. Lay & Browne are definitely ones to watch!
