Having worked across the output at BBC Radio one for 7 years, Rachel is one of the most experienced dance music radio producers in the UK.
She worked with Pete Tong for the duration of her time at the BBC, broadcasting all over the UK and the world. She was part of the team that launched Annie Mac's show in 2004 on Thursday nights and moved with the show as it changed timeslots, before finding it's current home at 7pm on Friday night. She launched Kissy Sell Out's weekly Thursday night show. Plus she's worked with other talent including Annie Nightingale, Dave Pearce, Vernon Kay, Jaymo & Andy George, Zane Lowe, Gilles Peterson, Judge Jules, Mistajam, Trevor Nelson, Huw Stephens, Colin Murray and more.
Key highlights have included broadcasting countless times from Ibiza, putting together 'A Night With Annie Nightingale', celebrating 40 years of the esteemed broadcaster and producing a documentary with Pete Tong on the Salvador Carnival in Brazil.
She's also a DJ and producer herself - releasing tracks such as 'Goose Step' which came with a stunning remix from Justin Martin and Djing all over the UK. She runs her own club night Lively which showcases the best house music across the board.
Rachel has always loved radio and has built up a wealth of knowledge producing distinctive and exciting content. That experience is now being used on various projects with worldwide brands. Rachel is a huge recruit to the Subbass team and will be teaching our new Radio Production weekend course.
