SubBass is located in Central London and has been teaching and forging careers for DJ's and Producers since 2001..

SubBass Academy of Electronic Music is a DJ, music production and specialist college with amazing fully equipped studios located in Westminster, the heart of London. We offer a full range of DJ and Music Production courses to suit everyone from the beginner to those who are more advanced and want to refine and broaden their skills. Whether you’re looking to launch your career as a DJ or Music Producer or learn for your own enjoyment, there is a DJ, Music Production or Specialist course suitable.

After Your Course

SubBass regularly hosts events at some of the biggest clubs on the planet with students getting the chance to play at: Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Fabric, Egg, Cargo, Brixton Academy, Space Ibiza, Amnesia Ibiza, Sankeys and many more. Every month we host a room at The Gallery, Ministry of Sound with both DJ and Music Production course students getting the opportunity to play.

SubBass producers have released on record labels like: Hot Creations, Wiggle, Vitalik, Toolroom, Catwash, Baroque, Kult, Shiva De-lab, Maquina Music, Pink Rabbit, Armada Music, Global Underground and many more. Over many year we have built strong industry connections bringing SubBass students amazing opportunities.

Students at Ministry of Sound

The studios are split into 2 sections. Our music production area has 6 individual music production workstations and a live room for vocal recording, working with analogue equipment, mixing down and 121 tutor sessions.

The DJ course learning zone has a main teaching area and 4 individual DJ practice rooms, SubBass is the only music training centre with individual DJ practice booths, and this means you get to practice in a live music environment instead of working just in headphones.
