Saturday August 24th will see one of our top DJ course graduates Kim Hunter hit the decks in one of the two main rooms at Ministry of Sound, London. With a peak time 1.30am set Kim will get the chance to play to a packed Saturday night Ministry dance floor. Its only been a year since Kim attended our DJ Complete course and she has already played at some massive events and is one to watch for the future.
Kim Hunter is 25 year old British tech house DJ from Bristol, UK. She has been DJing for a little over a year and has already played a number of clubs across the Bristol and London rave scene, including Bristol’s Blue Mountain, Bar Fu Manchu, The Egg and London’s infamous Ministry of Sound and is set for some of her biggest bookings later this year, including Motion, Bristol in October.
With aspirations to play for labels such as Solid Grooves, Relief, Kaluki and Abode, she has quite a diverse musical style. Her inspiration comes from various artists including Michael Bibi, Max Chapman, Solardo and Green Velvet.
With a busy year lined up, Kim will also be launching a bi monthly mix series later this year as well as her own event based in Bristol known as ‘Hunted’ so be sure to keep an eye out.
