SubBass Academy plays Arcadia Festival

SubBass Academy of Electronic Music is proud to announce that we are offering our students the incredible chance to play at Arcadia Festival!

Taking place over the May Bank Holiday weekend (5th & 6th May) in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Arcadia, the iconic spider structure born in the fields of Glastonbury Festival, celebrates its tenth birthday with a weekend party in London. Built from reclaimed military hardware, the all engulfing structure roars with 50 foot flames, crackles with multi-million volt lightning bolts, and swarms as strange creatures swoop from the sky. The festival will be playing host to a range of talented artists; Sven Vath, Eats Everything, Groove Armada, Rudimental and Noisia - to name a few and we are offering two sets on the 5th of May to our lucky SubBass attendees! This is a fantastic opportunity to take advantage of - think Elrow but darker.

The highlight on both nights of Arcadia's biggest ever production will be the world famous Metamorphosis show. Fusing together the full Arcadia creative spectrum there truly is no other show on earth like it. Details of a second 360 degree immersive venue alongside the iconic 50 tonne Spider are still top secret, but it will be covered, allowing for a fully blacked out explosion of sound, light and performance from early in the afternoon. With more artists, installations and production details still to be announced, the show at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will be the only opportunity to experience Arcadia in the UK this year - take advantage!

Arcadia Festival is a limitless experience, joining immersive theatre, high octane circus and thunderous bass into a spellbinding world of transformation which you can be part of!
